Health and Safety at A&P Carpentry

A&P Carpentry Contractors fully complies with the Health and Safety At Work Act 1974, along with the management of Health and Safety At Work Regulations 2006 and all relevant safety legislation in order to maintain our excellent Health and Safety record.

Overall responsibility for Health and Safety lies with Andy Irving, managing director in conjunction with our external advisors, Cotswold Safety Solutions, who advise on all Health and Safety matters, carrying out site inspections and safety audits on a regular basis.

Our Health and Safety policy outlines our commitment to providing safe working conditions for all employees and people affected by our work and is reviewed annually to take into account any new legislation as they are introduced.

In addition to our Health and Safety policy, all works carried out by A&P Carpentry Contractors are assessed; Hazards identified and a full risk assessment and method statement produced and then communicated to all employees through site inductions; Toolbox talks and start right planning before any works are carried out.
